Mandela Month: A Personal Reflection

When we think about the significance of Nelson Mandela Month, we think about the personal impact of Mandela’s philosophies on each of our lives, as well as the greater influence that the Father of the Nation had on our communities.

Bringing together people from all walks of life to work towards a shared goal was what Mandela stood for, and I believe that one of the best ways to honour him and his fight is to remember those communities that still need to be uplifted, and those whose voices still need to be elevated.

Swaziland launches a new national framework to eliminate new HIV infections among children by 2015 | UNAIDS

Swaziland has dramatically scaled up services to prevent new HIV infections among children in the country reaching more than 90% coverage in 2012.
"The framework will allow us to continue strengthening national programmes to realize our goal of eliminating new HIV infections among children."
